UPDATE on Two!
We bought her a really big bone yesterday and I gave it to her today. We think she probably had a really bad seizure that took her some time to recover from it. She is back to her old self now and we are happy that she is still here with us!

Prayers Appreciated
When I got home she wasn't able to stand on her own and just gently rolled back down. I got a towel in the house and wrapped her up in it and took her to the front porch where I rocked for her a little bit. She acted like she wanted down so I put her down on the ground thinking she might would be able to stand and walk. I was wrong.
What makes this all the more difficult is today is my Young Lady's 17th birthday. I truly hate to have Two pass on her birthday, but there isn't much I can do about that if it does happen....
The other bad thing is my husband who never gets sick is sick and he is weak. He said he don't know how he is going to dig her final resting place. So I might end up having to do it myself.
I have already called the vet to find out what needs to be done so we can bring her in. I hate to have to do that...
One thing is for sure, we will miss our sweet Two. Thanks for your prayers in this very difficult time.

URGENT ~ MISSING TEEN FROM WEST VIRGINIA NEEDS OUR HELP! UPDATE ~ Her body was found...
Please be on the lookout for this 16 year old girl who is a distant relative of mine. I do not know her. I've never met her, but my mom was best friends with her grandmother while in school. It is heartbreaking that she has been missing for 2 weeks and hasn't been found or reached out for help. I have a 16 year old daughter and it would absolutely drive me total nuts if this were to happen to her. Here's what they are reporting as of today about her:
The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office said it is expanding its search for a 16-year-old girl who was reported missing from the Cross Lanes area on Aug. 10.
Detectives have been scouring phone records, surveillance footage and investigating any tips received about Ericka Brown, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. They are asking for expanded media attention in other areas, including Wood County, West Virginia, Athens County, Ohio, and the Columbus, Ohio, market. The investigation has led them to believe she was last heading that direction in the early morning hours that Sunday when her parents discovered she was missing from a residence.
Brown is is 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighs about 100 pounds. She has long, sandy blond hair. Her family was unable to tell detectives what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance. It is believed Brown left the house on her own, but may have been the victim of a crime after leaving, the release said.

Thanks for the Prayers!
I want to I want to thank everyone who has prayed for my sister from the other day. My sister had an ablation to the heart surgery this morning and is doing great now! The doctor said there is only a 1% chance that her heart rate would ever go up again. I wish I had had enough forethought to ask the doctor if that helped to keep her from needing to have a pacemaker in the future. He did say she didn't have any blockages so that is great news to hear also. She had a test done late last night to check her gallbladder. She may need to have surgery for that sometime in the future, but for now all is well.

Prayers Needed Again
Anyway, she is supposed to get a second opinion about having surgery. They are wanting to do an ablation. My dad had that done this summer and it didn't work so he ended up with a pacemaker. Dad was 70. My sister is 40! We are wondering if an affected root canal could be the cause of her heart problems right now. She had two teeth pulled about 3 weeks before her heart attack. We have read some bad things about infected teeth and all. She just needs to find out if she really needs to have surgery or what is going on with her heart. She has an 11 year old boy and a 3 year old boy.

Pacemaker update
My dad had his pacemaker put in today. He did really good with it is what the doctor said. We had to wait on a room to open up for him for hours. I don't know why there wasn't already a room for him to go to right after recovery but there wasn't. We are afraid to ask when they think he might get to go home! No more surgeries please! I'm so tired and exhausted I just can't think to write more!
Not out of the Woods
I'll have to say the longer this is going on the more awkward it is because my dad has a girlfriend. I have met her before and she seems nice but she didn't call to tell me or my sister about this. She didn't call us for 2 days when he first went into the hospital. If it weren't for the fact that other family members knew and they were afraid that we would find out I think they wouldn't have let us know at all. Seriously! I'm also getting mad at the fact that every nurse, doctor or anyone who comes in his room to do something thinks that he is married to her and they aren't married. The surgeon came out from his open heart surgery Monday and went straight to her to tell her what all he did. He shouldn't be telling her anything because they aren't married. He's supposed to be talking to me and/or my sister. I do have it on record that I am the contact person but I they aren't calling me. It's pretty sad when my sister had to call an older cousin of ours today to try to find out what was going on because she didn't have the pin # to talk to the nurse. I have it but I wasn't home when she was trying to get it from me.
This will be either the 5th or 6th time that they have put him under for surgery in the last 25 days or so. That is too much but it has to be done.

Lots of Prayers Needed for my Dad
He has been in the hospital for going on 20 days now. First it was the heart and gallbladder. They did a stress test to make sure his heart was fine before they did the gallbladder surgery and it came back good. We asked why that test would say he had good blood flow when he was 95% and 65% blocked! All we got was sometimes those tests aren't accurate. I know now that if I should ever need a stress test I am not going to do it because it gave us false information and we didn't think he was this bad off as he is.
He looks great and is feeling really good now because he had the gallbladder out and all of that fluid that has been built up on him for a few years is now gone. He's lost over 20 pounds of fluid! He can get up and walk around on his own. The new hospital that he got transferred to is like a suite. It's very nice and comfortable. He has a couch that folds out into a bed with it's own tv, a desk/table and a few chairs for visitors to sit in. Unfortunately he won't be recovering in that room as he will be in ICU for a few days after they do his surgery. Then he'll probably get a regular room for the rest of the time he will be there.
The doctor had a dentist come and look at him yesterday and they did x-rays of his teeth. Today he will get his teeth cleaned. They have to make sure his teeth are healthy before they do the surgery so he won't get an infection.
His surgery is scheduled for early Monday morning. He will be having the full blown open heart surgery since he has so much wrong with him they can't do the minimally invasive surgery on him. The surgeon told me it will take 4 to 5 hours to do his surgery. It will be a long, long day for us all. Since my parents are divorced I was told before his heart cath that I would be the one responsible to make decisions about his care. I'm not sure if he will take that away from me and make his girlfriend do it or not but she would need a medical power of attorney. Every time she talks to me she always tells me that it is up to me and my sister. My sister really isn't in her right mind right now to be in that position and she even said that it would be up to me. Hopefully I won't have to make any decisions at all. I did however, change the surgeon that the doctor recommended to another surgeon that I have heard is the best. His doctor didn't like it that I did that but I feel so much better knowing that the same doctor that did my Granny's carotid artery surgery a few years ago will be doing my dad's open heart surgery. Yeah, there is a long story about that but I won't write it. I'm fine with that doctor not liking me because it's mutual! lol
Thanks for all of your support and prayers concerning my dad! My blogging friends are the BEST!!!!!

Random Post & Prayers Needed
This morning I had a doctors appointment. I was going to let my Young Lady and her Prince Charming watch my Little Man since I wasn't going to be gone that long and my Little Man didn't want to go anywhere today. I didn't realize that it had rained (a lot) last night so the low water bridge was flooded and I couldn't get out that way. I then tried to go out the other way and couldn't see the culvert as I drove by because the water was that high. Because of the weeds it didn't look like it was that high but it was about 6 inches of being on the road. I then had to turn around and tell my kids to get their stuff and get in the truck. I didn't get 2 miles from the house when I got behind the county road people who were "fixing" our road. I use that term loosely because they took us back to the 1800's with what they did to our road! We had a paved road and now we have a tar and chipped road! I HATE it! They were finishing up the job. While I was sitting there waiting a neighbor who happens to be a police officer pulled up behind me. We finally were able to go on down the road. I live on a country road that has a speed limit of 25. It can be driven faster than that but that is what it is posted for. I really wanted to make up the lost time of all of all of the earlier events but since I had the Po Po behind me I wasn't about to speed. He kept his distance and then I could tell he was dying for me to drive faster. I really wanted to pull over and ask him if it was alright if I did speed but I didn't! lol We finally came to where there is a split in the road. I kept thinking which road should I take. I went to the left. I could tell he was thrilled that I did that as he took off like a whistle speeding on the road to the right. At that point I was able to pick up the pace and was only 3 minutes late for my doctors appointment. Too bad I was only 3 minutes late as I didn't get back into a room for an entire hour! I was there a total of 2 hours. I knew I would have blood work done so I fasted. I wasn't hungry but I was so thirsty and couldn't drink anything. My appointment was at 11:00am and I didn't get to eat until around 2:00pm.
If anyone has noticed, I've been MIA the past 2 weeks. My dad has been in the hospital. The man waited two days before he told someone to tell me and my sister he was even there. He had to have his gallbladder out and when they were in they found a kink and obstruction in his small intestines. Before that his heart was going into afib so they did a stress test to see if they needed to do a cath before the gallbladder surgery. That test came back fine so they went on with the gallbladder surgery. He did well with that surgery but his heart was still going into afib. They then decided to put him to sleep and try to shock his heart back into rhythm. It worked for a little while but it went back out of rhythm. They put him on some medicine and sent him home so he could heal up from the gallbladder surgery before they do something about his heart. He went home with a friend who lives 3 miles from the worst hospital around here but that is where he's at. They can't even do anything for him and his heart at that hospital. He was home 2 days and went back early Sunday morning because he couldn't breath. They then decided that he had pneumonia on his right lung. They put a cpap on him and gave him a breathing treatment, iv antibiotics and a drip of something that would make him pee. After an hour and a half he was doing so much better.
Yesterday they did another test on him where they shot some dye into him to see what they could see. They also shocked his heart again which he and his girl friend did not mention to us that they were going to shock his heart again. Apparently now they are saying that his mitral valve has a leakage at 3 1/2 where 4 is the worst. They also said something about congestive heart failure. Tomorrow they will be transferring him to another hospital to do the cath they should had done 2 weeks ago. We are told that the surgery that he will need can only be done at one local hospital which isn't mine or my sister's preference or at Cleveland, Ohio. We'd like for him to go there because they do more of that type of surgery there then here. I'd appreciate any and all prayers in this situation. As some of my long time readers may remember from last summer I spent the entire summer going to different hospitals and rehabs when my Granny got sick with her gallbladder. After 4 months of this she finally passed. This is hard reliving what happened to her last summer and seeing it happening to my dad this summer.

We're Home!
We are home! I took a lousy picture of my Little Man's teeth that the surgeon removed this morning, but you can tell they were HUGE! The round thing is a dime! lol The tooth on the left is the one that was impacted and the other one on the right is the baby tooth that was already down that he removed to make it easier for him to get the adult tooth that was impacted.
It snowed some this morning so I left a little early to make sure we got there on time. We got there early. Then the surgeon was running behind. So we had to wait a little while before they started. I think it took longer to hook him up to the nitrous and the iv than it did for the surgery. Once he was ready for the surgery they had us to leave the room. I brought along a book that I've been trying to read for MONTHS! lol I only read 2 pages before the surgeon was out to tell us he was all finished!
He's a little mad because he still needs to have the gauze in his mouth because it is still bleeding some. His numbness is starting to wear off. I did however have to give him some Motrin about a mile from the doctor's office. He started crying saying he was in pain just as soon as the lady shut the door! Isn't that the way it goes! lol
He has stitches that will dissolve in a few days. He'll be on a soft foods diet for about 2 days. He will like that because he loves mashed potatoes and ice cream!
I want to thank everyone for their prayers and comments from previous posts!

UPDATE on Son's extra tooth
My son had his 3-D x-ray of his teeth today to see which tooth was the best one to keep and which one to extract. The oral surgeon said both teeth look very much alike, but the one that isn't down is the one that he thinks is the one that needs to come out. I asked if he was to pull the one that is already down if the other extra tooth would come down and fill in that ones place. He said that sometimes they don't. So Friday he will be having surgery to remove the extra tooth. He also wants to remove one of the baby teeth that is beside it to make it easier for him to remove the one that is impacted. So he's going to have 2 teeth removed Friday. They could have done it tomorrow, but he was crying because he didn't want to miss church. I'm quickly finding out that our dental insurance isn't worth having. I had to pay $80 for the office visit today because my insurance told them they won't pay for the visit. When they checked to see how much the insurance would cover for the surgery they were shocked. Our insurance won't pay for the nitrous so the surgeon said he wouldn't charge us for that. They won't pay for the extraction of the impacted extra tooth at all! They will only pay 80% of the cost to pull the baby tooth. I believe they told me my part will be $535. I also get to write a check for close to $5,000 for the first phase of braces in January. Our insurance will only pay $1,500 lifetime toward braces.

Mrs. Ruby "Pauline" Muck McClanahan, 89, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012, at CAMC Memorial Division, after a short illness. She was born December 11, 1922, to the late George and Myrtle King Muck. In addition, Pauline was preceded in death by husband, Tony McClanahan; son, Terry L. McClanahan; brothers, Richard, John and Earl Muck; and sisters, Marie Roy, Ambrosia Thomas and Katherine McClanahan.
She is survived by son, Randy McClanahan; daughters, Linda and husband, Paul Roberts, Joyce Winter and Kathy and husband, Eddie Withrow; sister, Sylvia Hager; brothers, Clifford and Leroy Muck; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
"Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but the woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates." Proverbs 31.
Do not stand at my grave a weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.
