Blogger messed up yet another post by turning my picture to the side when it isn't that way at all. So please turn your head to the side so you can see it better. I have a close up of some of the intricate detail of this beautiful stained glass window. I just love it! It's different and so whimsical!

I was in awe of all of the icicles that were hanging from the eves of the majority of the homes in that area. They were quite impressive looking icicles too. I wish I could have gotten a few pictures of the ones that I seen on the houses, but I had to settle with the much smaller ones that were hanging from the eves at Pasquales.
For dinner we opted to have side salads with garlic bread. Pizza with pepperoni and pineapple for the main course. Everything was delicious! 
About 2 weeks ago on Saturday my husband took us on a road trip to celebrate our 19 year anniversary. We went to a few of our favorite places that we used to go to when we were dating. Tamarack is always a full of wonderful things made by West Virginia artisans. Since Christmas is right around the corner there were lots of Christmas trees with unique decorations.
When we walked through the front door we were greeted by this absolutely gorgeous Christmas tree. I love it! My Little Man is graciously posing in front of the tree. 
The tree was adorned with handmade fabric German stars. 
I love the multi-colored glittery garland too! 
Speckled glass bulbs adorned the tree as well.
If anyone is looking for some handmade leather funky looking shoes than you'll want to take a trip to Tamarack to get a pair or two.

Not only are there crafts to be found, but you can also buy furniture. Even the centerpiece on the table was handmade in West Virginia.
This is just a small sampling of things that can be found at Tamarack. I'll do a part II to show a few other things that we seen there. Before going to Tamarack we had dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant in Beckley, Pasquales. We had dinner salads with bread sticks before our main course of Chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta. My young lady had spaghetti and meatballs and my Little Man had pizza. We ordered him a large pizza and brought home the leftovers! How smart am I that I keep a cooler in the back of my truck just for such occasions as this!
