Cathedral Falls

The falls are always gorgeous no matter when we go there. I'm so glad that this particular waterfall is located right off of a main road so that everyone can see it. I think that is why it is one of my favorite waterfalls to see. Well, that and I'm just now thinking that is probably the very first waterfall I ever seen as a child. I also love it because you can walk right up to it because it has an easy access to it. It's a must see if you are ever in the area.

Frozen Cathedral Falls

As hot as it has been this looks good right now! I found this picture I took at Cathedral Falls back in the Winter in my drafts. I can't believe I didn't post it! Better late than never! This is the same waterfall that my Little Man went to for his birthday in May.

Cathedral Falls ~ Birthday Trip

Saturday we took a little road trip in honor of my Little Man's birthday. He wanted to celebrate his 7th birthday at Cathedral Falls. He absolutely had the best time playing in the water.

He's a very brave boy!

I was smart and brought him a change of clothes because I knew he would get wet!

You can see just how small the kids are compared to the size of the waterfall in the picture above.

The kids love playing in the water at the bottom of the waterfall. It's not deep! It's rocky though.
