Finished Garden Project ~ Part 3

Welcome to my garden! Mr. & Mrs. Fox are waiting to show you around. They are so happy that I accepted the Great Garden Clean-up Challenge of my friend Monica at Expressly Corgi. They were being overtaken by weeds! Now they are living in the lap of luxury.

It took a few days but I finally got all of the weeds pulled in and around the hostas. We put down some landscaping material and put cedar mulch on top of it. My garden even smells better!

I might not have real chickens and hens but my strawberry pot is overrun with them right now. I love the my chickens and hens.

Look, no more weeds!

My second strawberry pot of chickens and hens. It is starting to crack the pot because there are so many of them in there.

Can you tell that I love my chickens and hens? Here is yet more of them but this time they are in a hanging basket. I planted a few of them in this hanging basket a good 7 years ago and I love how they have spread to cover the bottom, sides and top of the basket!

As you can see, Mr. & Mrs. Fox just couldn't be happier. Thanks Monica for giving me that little nudge that I needed to get things done around here! Now go visit Monica here to see her finished garden! She did a fantastic job!

Gee you did alot of work. It looks great. I love those chicks and hens also. But I think mine have disappeared among the weeds!! (And I am not as ambitious a gardener as you!)

Congratulations, Angela - even though you cheated and got HELP - Did you have to bribe those kids??? man it sure was hot out and I'm glad to have my garden section done. Mr Wonderful even noticed, and that is a big deal when HE notices something like that!!! Hurray for US! We did it, Girl!

Both of you did a wonderful job on you gardens! Mr. and Mrs. Fox have a lovely home to live in now.

I've never heard of "chickens and hens," but the look sort of like green roses... They are really very pretty!
