The Visitor
This is my mom's dog who stayed with us along with my mom while their electric was off last week. My dog Two didn't particularly care for Molly Mae being here so we had to keep the girls separated. Jazz didn't mind the visiting dog but we still kept them apart. We played musical dogs all week. When Molly Mae was outside my girls were either in the house or in the garage. When my girls were outside Molly Mae was in the garage. We put a fan in there, but it still was hot.
Molly Mae is a very big dog compared to my girls. She would jump up and look inside the window by our door so we moved the rocking chairs to keep her from doing that. I can't tell you how many times we had to fill up the dogs water bowls that we had scattered around for them to drink. We even brought out a kiddie pool and put some water in it for them. It quickly evaporated with the 108 degree temps we had all week. Molly Mae is an inside dog. She got to enjoy running free for a few days on our farm. It was good exercise for her. She even tried to chase a rabbit, but wasn't quick enough to catch it! I think she had a great time over all, but she was happy when she got home.

She does look like a big girl! Too funny you had to rearrange to keep her from playing peeping tom.
Nice of you to host a sleep over for Mommy Mae! :)
She really looks like a great companion - whomever she is with : )
I thought when I first saw that dog in the picture - that dog looks hot and I was right. She is pretty though. Love, sandie
Such a beautiful dog!
Glad you've survived the heat wave!
