Goats ~ Tuesdays' Show & Tail

Welcome to Tuesdays' Show & Tail! I hope everyone will join me this week by posting a picture or two of your pets, wildlife or visit to the zoo and tell a little about them! Tuesdays' Show & Tail is about having fun, and giving us a chance to meet other pet owners in the blogging community. If you are visiting and would like to join in on the fun, please do so! Everyone is welcome. It is very easy to do. Take a look at my guidelines here.
Last week we got a lot of rain. I had to keep watch on the creek to make sure that I could get out to get the kids from the bus. On one of my water checks I decided to take a drive on down the road to see what kind of critters I could see. It didn't take long before I seen my neighbor's goats. They are dwarf goats. Not much bigger than my dog Two. Can you see all of the water that is sitting in the field from all of the rain?

They've recently had babies! They are the cutest little things you've ever seen! I've not been able to get a picture of them yet. As soon as I do I will show them to everyone.

Oh they are cute - I hate they are standing in water though. They don't like minature - but it is hard to see in a picture.

You haven't blogged in a week - how come?

Love,

A gal in our neighborhood used to have two for a while. She would walk them down her street, just like dogs.

Those little ones are just adorable....My Momo used to have a goat as a pet, silly think thought it was a dog. Molly,{yea they named her Molly}..huff... was raised from 6 wk old with 4 big dogs, the dogs loved and protected her from anything that came around. Chuck finally gave her to a man who had several more goats, but she wouldn't stay in the field with the goats, she would break into the dog pen and sleep with the dogs. Last year when the dog yard fence got struck by lightening she and 3 dogs where killed.
Broke MoMo's heart.

I bet those babies are tiny, if the moms are so small! I hope you get to photograph them soon - maybe when the weather warms up a bit more? You sure had a lot of rain. Tomorrow it should be 50 degrees at our area - I'm very excited for that to happen, as you can imagine!
