I just happened to be in the area of the West Virginia Veterans Home in Barboursville, so I thought why not drive by the Veterans Home to take a few pictures of those Gorgeous Flags waving on the road up to the parking area. I couldn't help but to feel a since of great pride as I drove slowly up the hill. I had my Little Man with me and he too was excited about all of those waving flags. Then he seen the tank and asked me what it was. My first thought was I really hope and pray that he never has to see one in action. My second thought was I have really sheltered him from things like that that he doesn't know what it is. I told him it was an Army Tank and that was that. I'm really good at the sheltering bit! We were in Sheetz this month and he noticed a cigarette lighter. He asked me what it was! hehehe
I hope that you enjoyed a little peak of the West Virginia Veterans Home.
God Bless America!

looks like a nice place to retire to Virginia, for our veterans who willingly served our country
your son soungs so inquisitive! good for you for answering his questions; if he knows you'll answer them, he'll come to you with them
betty
Kids grow up all too soon, and he'll find out about these things. Best that you share with him your thoughts and feelings so he can begin to form his own....Have a great evening!
All those flags flying to honor the Veterans are just really beautiful. Thanks for sharing them with us.
